Sheryl Crow nació el 11 de febrero de 1962 en Kennett, un pueblo de [Missouri] (EE.UU.). Era casi inevitable que se dedicara a la música, ya que proviene de una familia de músicos. Su padre Wendell Crow tocaba en bandas de swing y su madre, Bernice, era músico de profesión.
"If It Makes You Happy" es el sencillo principal, del álbum del mismo nombre lanzado en 1996. La canción le valió a Crow el Grammy de 1997 a Mejor Interpretación Vocal Rock Femenina.
El video fue dirigido por Keir McFarlane, que uso muchos colores brillantes en el, y puso a Crow encerrada en la sección de especies amenazadas de un museo :-O
Yo lo llamaria Angry Rock, porque la verdad, es una de esas canciones que le dedicas a alguien que te esta haciendo renegar jajaja XD
